The CHAIN (Co-ordination & Harmonisation of Advanced e-INfrastructures: www.chain-project.eu) and EPIKH (Exchange Programme to advance e-Infrastructure Know-How: www.epikh.eu) projects announce their joint workshop to be held in Beijing, China.
This event is twinned to the DC-NET/INDICATE workshop on e-Infrastructures and Digital Cultural Heritage that will be held in the same location on the 26th of May (the day before).
Organisation
The workshop is hosted both by the Beihang (http://ev.buaa.edu.cn/) and the Peking (http://english.pku.edu.cn) Universities.
Scope
The scope of the event is to show both to the scientific community and to the decision makers the outcomes of the EPIKH School for Grid Site Admnistrators and of the EPIKH School for Application Porting raising their awareness about the usefulness of e-Infrastructures for e-Science and the importance of their sustainability.
Venue
The workshop will be held in the Central Library of the Peking University.
